Kristi Schmitt Driver Bio
Kristi Schmitt, who holds a degree in Computer Networking, began her racing career at the age of 10 competing in the Red Bluff Outlaws in California. At 16 she moved up to compete in the late model division at Shasta Speedway in Anderson, CA; the move earned her Rookie-of-the-Year at the track.
While attending college in Colorado, Schmitt continued to compete in both the Mesa Marin Late Models and 4 NASCAR Touring events.
In order to realize her racing goals Schmitt spends many nights and days working on her racecars at her father�s shop. Her main goal for 2002 is to earn Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Raybestos Brakes Northwest Touring Series.
