Kenny Smith competed at 605 Speedway in Irwindale between 1971 and 1976 adn at Saugus (Calif.) Speedway between 1971 and 1995. He won titles in claimer stock and mini stock divisions. Smith won over 22 million dollars in the California Lottery in 1994 and began racing in the NASCAR Winston West Series on a limited schedule.
