ANDREW LEWIS TO DRIVE AT THE NASCAR TOYOTA ALL-STAR SHOWDOWN

CORONA, California -- Sunoco Rookie of the Year driver Andrew Lewis will drive the #23 NAPA Filters/NAPA Belts & Hose/Rich’s Motorsports/Adam’s Kart Track Pontiac in the 3rd Annual NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown. Lewis, who finished 10th in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series, will be driving for car owner Clay Andrews.

“I’m excited to be participating in the showdown,” said Lewis. “I am grateful for the opportunity that Clay Andrews and Rich Gautreau have given me. It’s great to be reunited with this organization.” Lewis and Gautreau worked together when Lewis raced speed trucks and recorded a win in 2003 at Irwindale Speedway.

“This is a new team,” continued Lewis, “but we’ve been able to bring some of the West team members from this season with us for this event. With crew chief Duane Knorr on board, I am confident the #23 NAPA Filters Pontiac will be running out front.”

The NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown event will take place beginning on November 10th thru the 12th at Irwindale Speedway. SPEED Channel will televise the program live on both Friday and Saturday night with The Wayans Brothers serving as Grand Marshals of the event. Check your local listings for times.
