Corona, CA --Clay Andrews Racing is heading with high hopes to the valley of the sun to compete in the NASCAR Busch Series race at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend, November 12-13th. Clay Andrews brings aboard two veteran racers in Doug George, who will be serving as Crew Chief and Rick Carelli, who will act as Gilliland’s spotter on race day.

Gilliland, 29, is no stranger to the NASCAR upper echelon, he drove a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Billy Ballew Motorsports at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2005 and he finished fourth in points in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West series driving the #88 RaceCarCeilingFans.com/Honda Cars of Corona Chevrolet.

NASCAR has extended Gilliland an invitation to compete in the 3rd Annual Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway. Clay Andrews Racing will also be fielding a tour car for the 3rd Annual Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway with Andrew Lewis driving the #23 NAPA Filters/NAPA Belts & Hose/Rich’s Motorsports/Adam’s Kart Track Pontiac. “We are looking forward to a very competitive weekend from both our drivers. There has been a lot of work put into this team to make the races this week and we expect to do well” Andrews states.

Clay Andrews Racing also competes in the ASA Speed Truck Challenge with driver Clay Andrews in addition to owning a NASCAR Grand National Division, West series car, is also building a Super Late Model for Andrews to race at Irwindale Speedway in 2006.
