IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY RESULTSBandoleros

Eric Sloan, 12 from Alta Loma won Saturday night’s Bandoleros race at Irwindale Speedway. Aaron Anderson, 11 from Lancaster finished second and Tyler Fabozzi, 10 of Anaheim finished third in the 15-lap race.

King Taco Super Trucks

Kenny Smith of El Monte won Saturday night’s King Taco Super Truck race at Irwindale Speedway. Rookie Connor Cantrell of Valencia finished second, his highest division finish of the season to date. Division leader Pat Mintey Jr of Quartz Hill finished third in the 40-lap race.

Legend Cars

Chad Schug of Oak Hills won his second Legends race of the season Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway. Darren Amidon of Santee finished second and Austin Grabowski of Upland finished third in the 30-lap race.

Auto Club Late Models

Tim Huddleston of Agoura Hills and teammate Jace Meier traded the lead in the early stages of the race before Huddleston took the lead for good winning Saturday night’s Auto Club Late Model race at Irwindale Speedway. It was Huddleston’s 31st career victory at Irwindale Speedway. Meier, an 18-year old rookie from Las Vegas, NV finished second and Aaron Staudinger of Canyon Country, who won last week’s (May 12) Late Model race, finished third. Thirty cars competed in the 40-lap race with nineteen cars finishing on the lead lap.

AC Delco Super Late Models

Rip Michels of San Fernando took over the lead from Nick Joanides on lap 7 to win the 50-lap ACDelco Super Late Model feature race Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway. Michels, the winningest driver at Irwindale Speedway, notched his 47th career win and his third consecutive division victory of the season. Joanides of Woodland Hills finished second and Andrew Phipps of Simi Valley finished third. Twenty-four cars competed in the race with 12 cars finishing on the lead lap.####
