KANKE & LAMOURE PROVIDE HOPE FOR TWO FAMILIES OF MISSING PERSONS

Saturday evening under the lights of the famous Madera Speedway, Madera California two drivers have hopes of generating a lead resulting in a safe recovery of two missing male adults in the Hotwood Tri- Holiday series featuring the Stock Car Racing League (SRL) Wild West 100 Shoot Out.

Boaz Zino, who went missing at the age of 22 on January 3, 1999, was last seen on a bus in Oakland, CA. He was on Christmas leave from basic training at Fort Sill and was headed for San Francisco, but it is undetermined if Boaz ever arrived to his destination. Boaz will appear larger then life on the hood of the #33 race car driven by veteran competitor MK Kanke Saturday evening. Darrell LaMoure, Co-Founder of Racing for the Missing (RFTM), a program of the National Center for Missing Adults, “Mike joined our effort last season and we couldn’t have hand picked a better spokesmen for the families we represent. He is a front runner and aggressive. Outside the car as gentle as a kitten but, don’t be mistaken, he is the sharpest aggressor I have ever competed against.” Said; Darrell LaMoure. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Boaz Zino is urged to contact the Lawton Police Department at 580-581-3240.

David Clark Knowles, who went missing at the age of 43 on August 17, 2006, was last seen in the evening at a campground on Interstate 15 south of Dunsmere, CA. All personal belongings, except his wallet, were left behind. There has been no ATM or credit card activity since his disappearance. David’s larger then life image will appear on the hood of the #94 race car driven by RFTM Co-Founder Darrell LaMoure

David’s fiancé and family will be in attendance complements of Kenny Shepherd, president of Madera Speedway. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of David Knowles is urged to contact the Shasta Sheriffs office at 530-245-6135.

Racing for the Missing is a personal awareness and safety education program designed to assist families of missing persons and law enforcement. RFTM also makes an effort to educate the general public of the circumstances concerning this serious issue. Mike and Darrell urge you to make the trip out to Madera Speedway take a look at the images of Boaz and David on the hood of these two race cars. Please help these families! Racing starts at 5:00 PM.####
