![]() IRWINDALE, California – Race fans who enjoy NASCAR’S highly competitive short track racing and are interested in embarking on future home remodeling projects will be able to check items off of their to do list this Saturday (April 26) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale.
Stock Building Supply, a leading supplier of building materials to professionals and individuals is hosting the Stock Building Supply Home Improvement Show which is free to all spectators attending the races that evening. Race fans are encouraged to arrive early at the Speedway to preview the latest in home improvement products and tools and receive remodeling advice from professionals representing over forty vendors exhibiting at the show.
It is also Indian Guides Night and defending Auto Club Late Model division champion Tim Huddleston, owner / driver of the Justice Brothers sponsored High Point Distributing Racing Team is an advocate and member of Indian Guides, a YMCA sponsored father-child participatory endeavor. Huddleston along with the Agoura Hills / Thousand Oaks area chapters of the YMCA will host over 800 Indian Guide members and their families at the races.
Saturday night’s five race schedule is headlined by the Andersen Windows & Doors Fast Track 100 lap race featuring the Flashco SRL Southwest Tour Series comprised of many of the drivers and cars who competed in the former NASCAR Elite Division Touring series.
Andrew Myers of Huntington Beach will be attempting to extend his consecutive win streak to four races in Saturday’s Auto Club Late Model division race. Myers has a ten point lead over second place Nick Joanides, edging the Woodland Hills resident to the finish line by a 0.266 second margin in the last race on April 12.
The King Taco Super Trucks will be back in action with 16 year old Conner Cantrell (Valencia) on top of the standings thanks to his first ever division victory in the last race on April 12. Cantrell holds a six point lead over second place Joe Herold of Poway.
The Justice Brothers Mini Stocks will hold their second division race of the season with Daryl Scoggins of Sunlands clinching his first ever division win in the season opener on April 12.
Michelle Rouse of San Bernardino hopes to duplicate her effort after scoring a popular victory in the Pure Stocks division season opening race on March 29.
Spectator gates and the Home Improvement Show are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. The King Taco fan appreciation autograph session with drivers, crews and cars will take place on the track beginning at 5:45 p.m. Green flag racing action begins at 7 p.m.

Auto Club of Southern California members receive a 10% discount off of the purchase of up to four (4) adult general admission tickets for Saturday oval track races when they show their AAA membership card.
