SPRING VALLEY, Minn — A strong field is already signed up and dozens more are expected as the highly-competitive WISSOTA Midwest Mods get ready to make their mark and cash in at the 10th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree, set for Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 17-20 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.

In addition to the prestige of being called a Jamboree Champion and the fat paycheck that accompanies the title, WISSOTA Midwest Mod drivers will be racing for lucrative WISSOTA national points.

With a hefty car count and three nights of WISSOTA national points being awarded, this year's Featherlite Fall Jamboree could have a huge impact in determining the top-10 in WISSOTA national points.

The early entries for this year's installment include heavy-hitters such as Albert Wytaske, Brandon Davis and Kenny Wytaske, who are currently ranked 10th, 11th and 13th, respectively, in WISSOTA Midwest Mod national points with just a single point separating the three and all of them in contention to threaten the top-5.

Also on the list for this year's "Jam Session" are 2002 Jamboree winner Jerry Young and 2001 WISSOTA Midwest Mod National Champion Jim Arnold, who captured the opening night main event at last year's Featherlite Fall Jamboree.

Drivers are strongly encouraged to pre-enter. WISSOTA Midwest Mod drivers may enter for FREE between now and Monday, Sept. 15 by calling 515-832-6000. The entry fee at the event will be $50, which covers all three nights of racing.

WISSOTA national points will be awarded all three nights for the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. A draw/redraw format with passing points will be used to determine starting spots.

Thursday's main event will pay $300 to win and $60 to start, Friday will pay $400 to win and $70 to start and Saturday's winner will earn $500 with $80 guaranteed to start the 24-car main event.
