GREG PURSLEY GOES SPEED TRUCKIN'

GLENDORA, California -- NASCAR Winston West Rookie Greg Pursley will drive the #50 King Taco Racing Special in his Speed Truck debut at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday, July 20th in the 75 lap Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge race. Pursley brings very impressive credentials having won 11 main events at Irwindale Speedway including 2 NASCAR Featherlight Southwest Tour and 9 NASCAR Super Late Model races. Pursley will also be featured throughout the race with an "on board" camera focused directly at him with Speed Truck's "driver cam." This camera will show the viewing public the style and finesse of Greg manipulating traffic at the very fast, high banked Irwindale Speedway known as "LA's 1/2 mile Super Speedway." The race will be broadcast on FOX Sports Arizona, FOX Sports West and FOX Sports Southwest, date and time to be announced.

Also driving Saturday night and out of the same stable of Pursley's Speed Truck at Performance Motorsports Race Shop in Glendora will be the #77 King Taco Racing Special Speed Truck driven by Rookie Brandon Arciero. Brandon carried the "head light" camera at the May 18th race at Irwindale for King Taco and Queen Mary Shipwreck.com providing incredible race footage from a very unique camera angle for the Speed Truck Challenge television shows. This race, Brandon's truck is outfitted with an "in truck" camera with a wide angle view of the speedway and racing action from inside his Speed Truck.

Keep a close eye on the King Taco Speed Trucks #50 Greg Pursley and #77 Brandon Arciero in their Dodge Dakotas as they work their magic in the 28 truck field for 75 laps of the best racing action in the Southwest. Points leader #99 Randy Brown (498) from Covina in his Chevy S-10, tied for second place #11 Darren Young (452) in the Toyota Tacoma out of Gilbert, Arizona and Covina based #91 Lee Hatch (452) in his Ford Ranger, third place Dave Hartsook (394) from Palm Desert also in a Chevy S-10, the May 18th winner at Irwindale, with 2001 "Rookie of the Year" Laguna Niguel's' own #31 Dan Digiacomo's (392) Ford Ranger and the youngster from Las Vegas, Nevada #88 Casey Kingsland (376) Dodge Dakota all have something to say about the Winston West, Southwest Tour and Super Late Model accomplished driver, Pursley......"bring him on!"

King Taco Presents: a five division night of action at Irwindale Speedway with Dodge weekly NASCAR racing in the Jani-King Super Late Models, Miller Lite Big 10 Series, Automobile Club of Southern California Late Models, American Race Trucks, King Taco Legend Cars and the always exciting Mechanix Wear Speed Trucks.
