EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY MONSTER TRUCK WEEKEND

Saturday Night the big Monster Truck Weekend kicked off with a rousing success. Bigfoot, Obsession, Public Disturbance, Monster Moose & Natural High made their way around the course in front of the grandstands covering five different jumps, two "wheelie" tire jumps, built with dirt and over twenty cars. In head to head competition fast qualifier Obsession beat Bigfoot in a photo finish. Although the crowd cheered loud for Jennifer driving Monster Moose in the Freestyle portion of the night, Natural High took the top honors. John Zaretzke drove "The Gauntlet" to a hard fought victory over the "chase" cars, and the Northwest Legends and Hornets ran main events.

Tomorrow the fun continues with Monster Trucks, A Demolition Derby, School Bus Figure Eights, Boat Races, Hornets, A Roll Over Contest and a fabulous Fireworks Show to end the night. The front gates open at 3:30 with the show starting at 7:00pm. More information at evergreenspeedway.com
