NASCAR'S MIKE GALLEGOS RETURNS HOME TO COLORADO NATIONAL SPEEDWAY

GLENDORA, California -- Mike Gallegos and the No. 77 King Taco/Performance Motorsports team are optimistic as they head for Colorado National Speedway for the NAPA 150, June 2, 2007, the 6th stop on the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series schedule. Colorado National Speedway is the home track for Mike Gallegos, the Wheat Ridge, Colo. native.

Gallegos hopes to turn optimism into victory at the 3/8 mile, banked oval. "Colorado National Speedway is my home track," stated Gallegos. "I am looking for a strong showing for my hometown fans, my team and all of the Performance Motorsports sponsors."

Despite an up and down start in the competitive NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series season, Gallegos is focused on consistent progress each race weekend. "We are constantly evaluating our program to run better with each race," said Gallegos, the 24 year old NASCAR Drive for Diversity racer. "In this series, anything can happen- with a strong finish here at Colorado National Speedway and some top ten finishes in the remaining races, we could be right back in hunt for the Championship."
