REDDING, California – Melo Motorsports and driver Kyle Cattanach return to action this Saturday at Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg, Ore., for the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series BI-MART Firecracker 150.

The No. 59 Toyota Camry returns with sponsorship from Toyota of Des Moines and Eldorado Casino/Jeff Macy Enterprises. Toyota of Des Moines sponsored the car in the team’s attempt to make the race at the new Iowa Speedway last month and despite being more than 1,000 miles away from this race, the dealership offered to continue its support of the team. The dealership will be the primary hood sponsor, while Eldorado Casino/Jeff Macy Enterprises will have positions on the rear quarter panels.

“We are anxious to get back out on the track,” said team owner Marty Melo. “We were disappointed in not making the race in Iowa; however, we learned a lot from that experience as a young team and I think we are better for it. I can’t say enough about the support from Toyota of Des Moines. We had a great experience with them in Iowa, and we are thankful they are continuing their support for this race.”

Melo Motorsports also welcomes the addition of Eldorado Casino/Jeff Macy Enterprises.

“Jeff has been helpful in getting our operation off the ground, and he has always been supportive of independent teams trying to make their way into motorsports,” Melo said. “Jeff will also have Kyle showcase his talent in the Eldorado WestCar Tour of Champions Late Model Series at Shasta Raceway Park on July 14th.”

Cattanach will be returning to a track where he scored a North State Challenge Series Super Late Model win in 2004, which helped propel him to Rookie of the Year and nearly a series championship, finishing second just one point behind.

“It seems like forever since we’ve been on the track,” Cattanach said. “We did have a successful test at Roseburg earlier this month, and Bill McAnally was very helpful in that test and supportive of our efforts. Now, we just have to go and show people what I know we are capable of and that is running up front. I know our entire team is 100 percent focused on this weekend.”

The Roseburg race, which will be televised live on HDNet and replayed on SPEED, will be the third NASCAR Grand National race attempted for the team and Cattanach. In his series debut at Altamont Motorsports Park April 28th, Cattanach finished 14th, overcoming two cut tires during the race.

Associate sponsors for Melo Motorsports include: Dan Gamel RV, Pepper Jack Kennels, Praxair, Ringers Gloves, Colorcraft, Hawaiian Scene, Gerlinger Steel, Major Alarm, Shell Fast Track Food and Fuel, Shell Sportsmen Express and JW Web Design.####
