BIG BAD BIKE WEEKEND ON TAP AT ALTAMONT MOTORSPORTS PARKTRACY, California - A motocross enthusiasts dream is set to unfold at Altamont Motorsports Park this weekend with 20 SuperMotoUSA divisions racing on Saturday and Sunday.

Main events for the weekend will be 2007 SuperMotoUSA Series Round 5, the Suzuki DRZ-Cup Round 2 and the Fast Girl SuperMotoUSA Challenge.

Saturday fans can take in classes like Super 50, Formula 110, 125ss and Vintage Supermoto. On Sunday classes include DRZ CUP, Fast Girl, Super Lightweight and Mini Motard just to name a few.

Grandstands open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 9:00 am on Sunday. General Admission is $12.00 each day or $20.00 for a two-day wrist band.

The following weekend it is back to stock cars with an outstanding lineup featuring the SRL Wild West Shoot-Out and El Dorado Hotel and Casino WestCar Series in a race sponsored by sponsored by Mike Marchant Mid-Valley Iron and Metals. The American Limited Stock Car Series and the Formula-4's will also see action that evening.

Altamont Motorsports Park is located between Livermore and Tracy, Calif., within an hour's drive from most points in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as the Central Valley.

ABOUT ALTAMONT MOTORSPORTS PARK

Located in Alameda County, between Tracy and Livermore, Calif., Altamont Motorsports Park (www.AltamontRacing.com.) is a NASCAR-sanctioned motorsports facility featuring a 1/2-mile, high-banked paved oval that is the only 1/2-mile paved oval between Redding and Los Angeles.
