ARICERO-MILLER RACING’S DON TEBBE NAMED CHANDLER BRUNING SPORTSMAN AWARD RECIPENTSource: Jessica Peterson
Mark Miller also reflected upon this award by saying, “For the PPIHC organization to recognize the generosity and teamwork that Don has put forth at the hill climb is no surprise to me. He always conducts our team and all the sports competitors with the utmost respect.” The award was named after Chandler Bruning after he died during a qualifying session in 2001 when he crashed his 1999 Monte Carlo only 200 yards from the start line. It was during the 79th Race to the Clouds. Chandler a second generation racer and his family were well liked competitors on the hill. The Chandler Bruning Sportsman award celebrates its sixth year and will continue to honor people who have demonstrated enthusiasm, perseverance, and personal commitment to helping others.
