WHO WILL BE THE RACINGWEST PERSON OF THE YEAR FOR 2007?

There is a good side to the off season, it offers a chance to work on the car, or the press releases, to finish up all those hundreds of things that are put off all year long for this time of year…you know those things we always swear we will finish in the off season? And for me personally I love the RW Christmas questions, reading what everyone is doing, maybe hearing from folks that we have not heard from in years, finding out all kinds of good stuff.

Another favorite thing is doing the top-ten lists. Well gee, I think everyone likes to do those, right? My favorite RacingWest top-ten is usually picking the “RW Person of the Year”.

So how the heck do we pick that special person?

Sometimes it is done by a vote by the users, sometimes by a poll given to those in power in racing and sometimes we just pick who we personally have observed working the hardest and doing the most for racing.

This year we are combining two of the methods. We are polling select individuals that we view as powerful to the racing world in order to get an insider feel and we are going back to what worked well in the past, polling the RW users, the ones that actually feel what is going on…you know the ones who know better than anyone who has been naughty or nice in 2007.

If you would like to vote for the RW person of the year, please use this form or respond to our personal email. "Voting" is open for registered users only or people we know. If you are new to RW, please introduce yourself to us, we want your legitimate vote. We are tossing all prank votes, phoney name votes (remember, you may ask your vote to remain anonymous), etc. Also votes for RW, although flattering, will not count.
