LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Race fans endured a hot night at the Big O Tire Night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for The Orleans NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge Saturday night.

Thane Alderman notched his fourth win this season in the NASCAR Late Model division. Alderman qualified fifth for the 40-lap main event and started fourth after an eight-car invert. Alderman dominated the field to capture the checkered flag. Rich Attisani finished second followed by Darren Michels and Steve Anderson.

"The car has been good all year," Alderman said. "We have been gradually tuning it. We change little things every race."

Ken Kulikowski and Glenn Burke both visited victory lane in the NASCAR Outlaw Stock division. Kulikowski posted his second win of season after dominating the first 25-lap main event. Schottmuller finished second followed by Tom Youmans and Len DeJoria.

"I thought I was going to lose my motor in the last 10 laps," Kulikowksi said.

Burke posted his fifth win this season after holding off Kulikowski and Schottmuller in the second NASCAR Outlaw Stock 25-lap main event.

"The car handled great," Burke said. "It didn’t have any power, but handled great."

In I.M.C.A. Modified action, Mark Allison posted his second win at the Bullring this season. Allison was awarded the lead on lap four after race leaders Steve Burke and Larry Gerchman were involved in a racing incident. Don Williams challenged Allison for the lead, but was unsuccessful. Williams finished second followed by Wayne Morris Jr. and Dan Fitzgerald.

Rookie Taylor Barton posted his first Legends Cars win in the 25-lap main event. Barton started on the pole and was challenged by TJ Clark who took the lead on lap 10. Five laps later, Clark spun and Barton regained the lead. Barton maintained the lead to take the checkered flag. Rookie Alex Haase finished second followed by Rick Rogas and Spencer Clark.

"I had a winning car all weekend," Barton said. "I finally pulled off a win."

Kevin Terrell collected his first win of the season in the 10-lap Bandolero Cars main event after holding off Andrew Murphy of Lancaster, Calif. Terrell and Murphy ran side-by-side a good portion of the race. Murphy finished second followed by Bear Rzesnowiecky and Austin Murphy.

"We had a strong race with the No. 70," Terrell said. "He (Murphy) wouldn’t let up."

Roger Hocking posted his first win the season in the Thunder Roadster 15-lap main event. Hocking held off David Green and Stoney Gray.
